A list that undersells what’s missing is worse than no list. Nothing here is hidden — if you hit something not on it, tell us (see the bottom of this page).
Platform
macOS only, Apple silicon or Intel, macOS 14 Sonoma or later. There is no Windows or Linux build. The app is built with Tauri, so other platforms are technically possible, but nothing is promised.
No mobile app, no cross-device sync
DohFlow is a single encrypted file on one Mac. You can keep several vaults on the same machine and switch between them, but nothing syncs a vault between devices, and there is no phone or tablet app. To move a vault to another Mac, take an encrypted backup and restore it there.
Bank connections
SimpleFIN is the only connector today. Coverage is whatever SimpleFIN Bridge covers — check their site if you are not sure about your bank. If it is not covered, CSV/OFX/QFX import works with any bank that can export a file, and manual entry always works — a connected account is an enhancement, never a requirement.
Connected accounts must be in your base currency (Settings → Base currency). Connecting an account in any other currency isn’t supported yet.
Security review
DohFlow has not had an independent third-party security audit. See Security for exactly what protects your data and what does not.
Accessibility
Not formally audited against WCAG 2.2 AA. The two biggest known gaps: charts give a sighted user more than a screen-reader user gets, and the dense transaction and forecast tables are demanding to navigate non-visually. Screen-reader testing so far is VoiceOver only. Full list: Accessibility.
Upcoming bills in the Money Inbox
A bill that is not yet due does not get its own Money Inbox item yet — you will still see it on the Bills view and as a line in your Cash Flow forecast, it just will not surface as something to triage until it is actually due or overdue.
